Rosy Hotel

NOT SAFE FOR WOMEN ALONE OR WITH FRIENDS. Upon arrival air conditioning was working very poorly, a member of staff came up to fix it and was in and out of our room knocking up until after half 3. This wasn't the only time he had to do so as it wouldn't go cold. On two separate occasions when both me and my friend (young females) were in the room alone sleeping naked due to the heat, the maintenance man let himself in to the room despite not being called, when asked to leave he questioned us. On our last night, he came into the room and pretended to play with the air conditioning whilst making my friend feel extremely uncomfortable as she was naked and he wouldn't leave. The doors do not lock from the inside so we were unable to keep ourselves safe from this man. I worry if we were here longer what could've happened or if they came into the room when we were unaware. Also Wi-Fi only works in the stairwell or reception, not in the rooms as they claimed. THE ROOMS DO NOT LOCK FROM THE INSIDE. DO NOT BELIEVE THEM. THE MAN ENTERED OUR BEDROOM ON TWO SEPARATE OCCASIONS WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION Updated- as you can see there is no lock on the door. Meaning anyone can come in at any point whilst you’re inside without a way to stop them. There’s a lock on the bathroom door but not the one leading outside.

Friendly reception, lovely pool unfortunately house keeping lacked as was given one toilet roll for 7 days .no clean bedding despite asking politey, floor not cleaned. Bin emptied once. Very unacceptable as was a damper on are holiday. Will not return to hotel. Bemused as to how hotel has a hygiene rating and certificates.and finally confusion with payment we had already made. And had to make alternative transport to airport. Luckily we found ziggy transfers.execllent service from ziggy transport.

On arrival at the hotel after a long 3 hour drive from Pamukkale, we were greeted by a very sweet and helpful receptionist, which was very happy to help with any problems or issues we had. This gave us confidence straight away we were staying in a great hotel! Within minutes we were booked in, key in hand and was able to get into our room. From outside the hotel looks very nice, inviting with clear signs and with tidy decor too. Parking was alittle worrying behind the hotel on private land as it was dark, no lighting and overgrown etc. but we had no-issues with the car being parked there and we could see the car from our hotel room as well. Location of hotel: Location wise it's just over 1.5km from town centre, quick easy road straight in and out, no problem, met by many restaurants, shops and numerous other businesses along the way. Having stayed in over 50+ hotels whilst travelling around Turkiye, we have found a hotel we would definitely stay at again, we had a very good deal from well known hotel booking apps, central location, clean and no problems had either. We will definitely stay at this hotel again! Breakfast: Time was alittle short being 830-930am due to 'out of season', this was not a problem for us as we needed to get out early for the 2days we were staying in Marmaris. Pre-plated traditional breakfast, help yourself to as much bread, 2 choices of cereal was available, 5-6 different juices and endless tea/coffee too. We enjoyed our breakfasts and it set us up for the day ahead. Definitely highly recommend for a quick overnight stay or a few days, there is so much to do in and around Marmaris, we could not cover everything we wanted to see so we will be returning to this beautiful part of Turkiye again in 2024 to pick up and see what we could not finish this time. This is our second time to Marmaris and definitely an area we really enjoy. Things to do nearby: I understand there are quite a few local(if you have a car or confident using buses) markets to be able to buy and see local produce (famous for honey, almonds, figs etc.) also handmade items and the usual bazarr items the locals are selling/buying, it really is a great atmosphere and can get some real good deals too. 'Grand bazaar Marmaris' is the small scale of Istanbul, alittle expensive due to location but you can mostly find everything a tourist needs to buy. Unfortunately you will be pressurised when walking past which can be alittle off putting at times. Over 1000 little shops with everything you can think of for sale! Many other activities ie boat trips, beaches, excursions to do in and around Marmaris. You could spend 10days and still not cover everything but a good reason to return another time. *Boat trips stop beginning of Oct as season finishes.

I had a very pleasant stay in “Rosy Hotel” ! The rooms are super clean, everything is available, the staff including The receptionists “Atuallah” and “Dilek” were very decent and respectful. The morning breakfast is simple and tasty. This hotel deserves the 4th star. The only issue for some is that there is no elevator. Other than that i was extremely happy ! I really recommend.

A very hospitable environment. Breakfast is pleasant. We enjoyed the smiling faces of the staff....However, i do have a thumbs down. We arrived Saturday..left our room for touring at 9 am Sunday and when we returned a little after 2 we were surprised to see it hadnt been cleaned. Bed wasn't made, bathroom wasnt cleaned,no clean towels, no shower douches, no toilet paper refill..I put the " DONT DISTURB"sign outside our door only to be awakened by the cleaning lady..who knocked twice then rudely opened the door! She didnt speak english so we couldnt communicate. Leaving the hotel again at 6pm we asked for our room to be tended to..returning after 1am...no one had come to clean it or bring clean towels,shower douche or toilet paper! We left this morning..with our room not having been cleaned since the day we checked in! This was a big disappointment which cast a shadow over the pleasant amenities and smiling staff which made our stay enjoyable. Only one staff member spoke some english and we could communicate. Communication is a bit of a problem!
